| Post your favorite WW1, WW2 or other war movies here. (It would be great if you can write a short explanation to teh movie you post, and your own voting [max.10]) In 1917, in World War I, the veteran Sergeant, Michael Dunne, is wounded at the front and nursed by Sarah Mann. He is diagnosed as neurasthenic and returns to his hometown, Calgary, to work in the recruitment section. When Sarah's asthmatic brother, David, is enlisted and demands that this be recognized by the father of his girlfriend, Cassie Walker. Sarah believes that Michael is responsible, and blames him for the engagement of her brother in the army. Michael re-enlists, using his mother last name, in order to protect David and they are sent to the no man's land at the front line of the Battle of Passchendaele. My voting: 9/10

| Based on actual WWII events, Saints And Soldiers tells the dramatic story of a small band of Allied soldiers trapped behind enemy lines with information that could save thousands of American lives. Outgunned and ill-equipped, they must battle the frigid wilderness and roving German troops to smuggle critical intelligence back to Allied territory. My verdict: 9.5/10____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A law student becomes a lieutenant during World War II, is captured and asked to defend a black prisoner of war falsely accused of murder. My verdict: 8.0/10____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Peaceful farmer Benjamin Martin is driven to lead the Colonial Militia during the American Revolution when a sadistic British officer murders his son.My verdict: 10+/10____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Three trappers protect a British Colonel's daughters in the midst of the French and Indian War.My verdict: 8.5/10 | |

| Sir, with all respect, the german strategys where the best in WW2. The only american "effective" strategy was, to attack with every vehicle, man and other the german positions. | |
